Quick Start Guide – Always On Demo ONLY

The demo environment has been configured to use your email alias as the login and TSdemo123 as your
password for TSPS, TSIM, ITDA, Remedy / SmartIT and PEUEM. If you aren’t part of the pre-sales
organization, you can use the access information below. This gives each user more flexibility in the way
they customize their views. This also means there are no OOTB views created for you so be sure to login
and configure it how you want before demo’ing in front of a customer. This also means there are no
dashboards assigned to you so create your own or use some of the shared dashboards that have been
configured.

NOTE: When using the pre-configured remote actions for creating demo flows, be sure to check if the
flow is already active and to clean up when you are done. This usually involved closing events. Make
sure to clean up anything do change / execute when you are done.

This is the latest build of the TrueSight OM End to End environment and represents a departure in the
way demonstrations are supplied and built to meet the changing demands of the field. The Always On
and the BDC Static time demo are virtually identical (with a few caveats) so they share the same build
base. This will make it easier for the field when using either environment as they should be the same
and from a maintenance perspective for the BU. The Always On can be utilized for most things and is
readily available without the need for scheduling, etc… The static time demo will also be available for
demos that require customization and full PCA. Updates to the environment will be quicker and
continuous as we adopt a more “SaaS type” mentality.
From the beginning this environment was built from scratch with the sole purpose of having a stable
platform where all of the integrations have been tested and work as they should. From there was added
as much monitoring as could reasonably be done with more coming as time and technical hurdles allow.

Always On Demo
1. As mentioned above, quite a lot can be shown in this demo environment with more being added
all the time. If you have a question about if or how to show something don’t hesitate to reach
out to me.
2. Most of the flows are started from a remote action command. There are no checks to see if the
scenario has been previously executed so be sure to check before using.
3. Clean up! Please clean up anything you do in the environment. Also note that you have more
access to admin and config type things. This is ONLY so you can show it, please don’t make
changes to the configuration of the environment.
