Polygraphy is a device for producing copies of a drawing or of writing, “It is also called

polygraph which testing combines interrogation with physiological measurements obtained

using the polygraph, or polygraph instrument, a piece of equipment that records physiological
phenomena like respiration, heart rate, blood pressure, and electrodermal response”(National
Research Council, 2003). A polygraph examination includes a series of yes/no questions to
which the examinee responds while connected to sensors that transmit data on these
physiological phenomena by wire to the instrument, which uses analog or digital technology to
record the data. The record of physiological responses during the polygraph test is known as
the polygraph chart. Polygraph is really related to the detection techniques of an expert because
they can establish their patterns of techniques in determining the truth. The heart rate, blood
pressure, and sweat are the physiological measurements that can be used by the polygrapher
and it can really define someone if they are really lieng. Polygraph Method/techniques uses
interviews and interrogations to try to see through deception and reveal what a deceiver will not
