REFLECTION ABOUT THE VIRTUAL ENGLISH CLASSES

Day to day education is transformed by advances in science and technology. But since
March 19 we were forced to see our English class online thanks to the Covid-19. Where
virtual learning environments became new learning environments that for me have been a
challenge, - since I didn’t imagine seeing virtual English-, although connectivity has not
been good which sometimes prevents me from clearly listening to the teacher or
participating. This has been interesting, but thanks to the explanations of teacher, as well as
the videos that used to explain the different topics, which managed to attract my attention
and interest me more on the subject, which led me to look for more information and
practice; although I have been an enemy of virtual classes, thanks to the English teacher I
have been motivated to be in them and participate something I did not dare to do in the
classroom, perhaps for fear of being wrong, but it generates an atmosphere of trust that
makes it equal to or more enriching than the face to face.
The virtual English class is more interactive because we speak and write and because she
performs individual and group work within the same virtual session, to share our views.
That being the case, I have learned more in this way and it seems to me that it has been
interesting to acquire this new experience because depending on the commitment and the
responsibility of each person is acquired knowledge thus enriching for all.
