My name is Eki Kiding Allo, born in Makale, Tana Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi Province,
May 11, 1997. I am the third child of five siblings from a married couple Elisabeth Kiding Allo and

In 1602 the Dutch government formed VOC, they in addition to selling spices
also began to trade the mining results, in the year 1652 began to investigate various
aspects of night science by scientists from Europe. In 1850 the government of the
Dutch East Indies established the Dienst van het Mijnwezen (Mijnwezenn-the mining
office) based in Batavia to further optimize geological and mining investigations
more directed.
By the year 1920, according to the plan of the Dutch East Indies government
made Bandung as the capital of the Dutch East Indies, then the preparation to move
Mijnwezen office to Bandung. The departement of Burgerlijke Openbare Werken
(Ministry of Public Works), who took Mijnwezen and occupied Gedung Sate. In
1922, the Mijnwezen institution was renamed to Dienst van den Mijnbouw.
In year 1928 the government of Dutch East Indies began building the
Geologisch laboratory building located on the Wilhelmina Boulevard for the office of
Dienst van den Mijnbouw and was inaugurated on 16 May 1929. The building was
used for part of the Pacific Science Congress event to IV. This building is now called
geological Museum, which is at Jalan Diponegoro No. 57 Bandung.
During World War II, often used as a place of education Assistent Geologen

Raden Soenoe Soemosoesastro and Arie Frederik Lasut. The two indigenous

and Doturmeric, was acquired by the Japanese and renamed Chisitsu Chosasho.
Chisitsu Chosasho's office cannot do much because of the lack of experts and
budgets. Dutch aWl power was still initially preserved but later interned, except those
required by Japan.
The next day the board was formed by a seven-man office, and Raden Ali
Tirtosoewirjo was appointed as his president. A few days, there was a change of
leadership, R. Soenoe Soemosoesastro who originally served as vice chairman. was
appointed as A leader and A. F. Lasut as his deputy. A few weeks later, A change of
leadership took place A. F. Lasut was appointed as head of the Poesat Dpost and R.
Soenoe Soemosoesastro as head of geology. As a leader. A.F. Lasut on October 20,
1945 issued the first announcement that all mining companies were placed under the
supervision of the Mining and geology office Poesat.
Three months later, on 12 December 1945. Part of the Office of the Mining
and Geology Bureau, was transferred to Onderling Belang building, in J1. Braga No.
3 and No. 8. Bandung. Because of the coming of the Dutch troops with allied forces.
The office of Poesat Djitty Tambang and Geology was occupied by Dutch troops.
A.F. Lasut as a young man has an assertive nature, refusing cooperation with
the Dutch. When the Dutch troops were occupied, it was AF. Lasut on the morning of
7 Mer 1949 was kidnapped by Dutch troops from the Tijger Brigade from his
residence in Pugeran, carried by Jeep in the direction of Kaliurang, and then
murdered in the Sekip area. The current environment of Gadjah Mada University
campus. And for his contributions, A.F. Lasut was then awarded Ge1ar Pah1awan
National independence with the decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia
No. _012/TK/year 1969 dated 20 May 1969. With the foundation of A.F. Lasut as the
national hero of Independence, it strengthened the foundations that the acquisition of
Chisitsu Chosasho's office on 28 September 1945 was an important heroic event for
the mining and energy sector. On 28 September 1945. There is also a takeover of Java
Denki Koza Office (Java Electricity Company) by forced youth.
In setting up the day of mining and Energy, the Minister of Energy and
Mineral Resources (ESDM) issued decree of the Minister of Energies and Minerals
No. 1319 K/73/MEM/2006 concerning the Book of the History of mining and energy
books and then renewed with Decree No. 0147 K/ 73/MEM/200R dated 14 February
2008.
After the team conducted a study in the mining and energy sector was found
some important things, namely: first. 28 September 1945, second, 7 May 1949, third,
22 February 1952, fourth, 14 Oktrober 1960, fifth, 2 December 1967, sixth, 27
October 1945, seventh, October 3, 1953, eighth, October 5, 1945, ninth, October 26,
1960 (events on all such dates Mining and Energy history book).
The assignment of the Mining and Energy Day was decided at the DESDM
leadership meeting which took place on 1 November 2007 at the Bandung Geological
Agency. followed by Echelon I and II DESDM officers led by Minister of Energy
and Surnber Mineral power.
Based on the result of the assignment. The Minister of Energy and Mineral
Resources delivered a letter to the President No. 1349/04/ME ~ LS/2008 dated
February 26, 2008 proposed the day of mining and energy to be established in
Presidential decree. Further with Presidential decree Repub1ik Indonesia number 22
year 2008 date 27 September 2008 Set Day of mining and energy is September 28th.
