Configure Policy Trace

To prevent any trace loss, please add the following temporary troubleshooting
layer:
1. Go to Proxy -> Configuration -> Policy -> Policy Options, select "No default
tracing of policy execution", click Apply.
2. Go to Proxy Configuration - Policy - VPM - Launch
3. Go to Policy menu - Add Web Access Layer (need to be the last layer)
4. Source - Client IP for the testing, Destination Any, Service - Any, Time -Any,
Action None (right click and hit delete).
5. Track - Set - New - Trace - Name=Trace, Trace Level = Checked, Select trace
level = trace enabled, trace file = checked and trace file = trace
6. Click on and install policy. (Disable the layer after doing the testing.)

Configure and start packet capture and policy trace:

1. Browse to https://x.x.x.x:8082/policy, Delete all policy trace. (Ensure you do
this)
2. Navigate to Maintenance - Service Information - Packet capture
3. Apply the following filter and start capture
ip host <client ip> or host <test website domain hostname e.g. www.msn.com> or port

4. Reproduce the issue (access to website above)
5. Stop packet capture

Upload Sysinfo, Snapshots, policy trace, PCAP and Eventlogs to SR

1. Login to Web Management Console of the ProxySG
2. Navigate to Proxy -> Maintenance - Service Information - Send Information
3. Enter the SR-Number
4. Check on Event Log, Snapshots, policy trace, Packet capture and SYSInfo,
5. Click on Select snapshots to send then select each snapshot one by one under
"Snapshots Not Selected" and click on "Add To Selected".
6. Ensure the selected snapshots (snapshots_sysinfo & snapshots_sysinfo_stats) are
now within the list under Snapshot Selected then click on "OK"
7. Click on Send
