he biggest challenge the world is facing now in my opinion, is changing the
source of our energy. One of the best solutions for this, which is also an
important source of the Greenhouse Gasses emission, is to address the energy
consumption issue and replacing it with a sustainable option. Us, humans, now days
require a supply of a large amount of energy to run our lifestyle. Cars, cellphones,
computers, buildings, …

In the article, there is the explanation as to how this issue is address but in a non-
optional way.

And this above means the residents of Massachusetts will have to become green in
their electricity consumption. Something now is a choice.

In Massachusetts, legislators are proposing a change in the fossil fuel use. This is by
forcing the change.

A law would be created if the bull passes n the Senate and the House, and so every
commercial building and residential units will have to be equipped with solar panel
systems.

There would be a new set of specifications with the different types of edifications. For
example, for a single unit, a family home, the solar panel system will have to supply the
demand of energy annually by a 100%.

The article also mentions a Target, which will be the reduction of the state’s carbon
dioxide, the initiative is the bill to amend its building code, and a metric, 1.9% by 2045.

Now days, is very difficult to enroll someone in the idea of becoming sustainable. Is very
common to see someone embracing the old bad habits because they think: if everyone
does it, so can I. And this will never get us where we need to be in order to care for our
natural resources, dispose of them in a non-abusing way.

And to apply this law, solar panels would need to be completely available to purchase in
order to families with low income, can buy them.

The truth about this initiative is that no one should be forced to implement a new
technology on their homes or commerce’s. But, in the end, it is what is best for the
world, and subsequentially, for our survival on this planet. Because justs, shouldn’t have
to pay for sinners.

If all of the cities worldwide would implement this, the amount of co2 released would be
much less.
