General Background of the Project: ___

Mutual Fund is an investment vehicle created with pooling of funds collected from the
scattered investors to invest in stocks, bonds, money market instruments, or similar assets.
Some have benefited from it and many are not even aware of such a mode of investment. 

Some of the investors, with their limited awareness of this mode, invest in it and expect
return higher than those provided under time in commercial banks and if the expected result
does not come up instead turn to backfire, they quit from this mode and also demotivate new
ones from entering. This study is conducted to understand the extent of awareness of Mutual
Funds in Investors and steps in familiarizing them among potential investors.

Progress made so far:   -
Started understanding about mutual funds more and my mentor MR RK sir has been very
informative on the topic  mutual funds, there are more things to learn about this study which
I will be doing in the coming days, I have started my research report by completing the
introduction, industrial and company profile, and research methodology

I have finally prepared my questionnaire by taking all the objectives of my study into
concern.

I have collected responses 102 from various demographic profiles, I have stopped the data
collection as I see I am not able to collect more, I have started trying into spss now.

Action Plan for the next fortnight:  _____

Taking approval and feedback from my company mentor and faculty guide also about sample
questionnaire.
So, after taking approval my next concern will be completing all the corrections and then
focusing on the data collection.

I have collected the data, have entered also in the SPSS, so my next plan is to analyze and
interpret the data which I have and mould into my benefits for my study.

Problems/difficulties faced if any: _

As its an online internship collecting primary data will be a lot tougher as this will take time
to collect nearly 200 responses.
Data collection as it was online, it was difficult to physically go and make the respondent
understand what the questionnaire is, as they have done on their own, so there can be some
misinterpretation in their understanding of doing the questionnaire which will be difficult for
me to analyse during my time.
                                   
Guide’s Comments:
Nikhil is one of those interns who is always there in the frontline when it comes to learn new
things, the topic which he took and the effort and dedication to complete the same was
excellent. I am sure he will be a good asset to this industry.
I wish him all the best for his future and wish he choose Financial services industry as his
career
