The Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi through the letter cited has requested ‘the University to instruct al the colleges under their jurisdiction to take certain preventive measures tO curtail the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID ~ 19) In view of the above, since there is a chance of transmission of virus through touching infected surfaces, as a preventive measure to curb spreading of Novel Coronavirus (COVID - 19) the Principals of Campus/Constituent and all affliated colleges under the Jurisdiction of Osmania University are hereby informed to withhold recording the attendance of staff and students of their college through Aadhar Based Biometric System until further orders and maintain Attendance Registers as it was done earlier.
