The medieval period in India is from 700 AD TO 1750 AD

The early medieval period is from 700 to 1300 and Later medieval from 1300 to 1800R

Medieval Period:
The Palas, Pratiharas, Rashtrakutas, and Cholas were the powerful dynasties in this period.The
Turkish invasion began in India from 1000AD onward, due to the internal troubles. And the Delhi
Sultanate flourished between 1200AD to 1525AD.The Sultanate was over thrown by the Mughals in
the 16th century. The advent of Muslims brought new dishes, clothes, etc.. . After that the Portugeese
began trading with India(Vasco da Gama was the one who discoverd the sea route to India).Later the
Dutch, English and the French.In the Mid of the 18th century the English started conquering India.
