1.1 General information on retrofitting a tow‐

ing bracket
♦ When retrofitting a trailer towing bracket, observe the relevant
technical and statutory requirements and manufacturer spec‐
ifications.
♦ Use only a towing bracket that has been tested
permitted and
unlesscertified
authorised by AUDI AG. AUDI AG does not guarantee or accept any liability
for the vehicle in question. with respect to the correctness of information in this document. Copyright by AUDI AG.
♦ Make sure there is sufficient clearance between the bumper

cover and any attachments mounted on the towing bracket
(such as a bicycle carrier).
