School days should be limited from Monday to Thursday only because of the
following reasons. Primarily, students need more time to study their lessons because
nowadays, cramming has been a trend among some of them. So whenever a Friday is
free, they have more time to open their books and to do research because they have a
long enough weekend to do so. Second, whenever the class-schedule is revised, make-
up classes can be held on a Friday. If a make-up class would be held on a weekend or
a holiday, the students’ and the faculty members’ leisure time would be lessened, thus
giving them a negative attitude. “A happy person is a progressive person,” that’s why a
negative attitude is a big NO-NO when it comes to progress. Lastly, students can have
more time to take part in extra-curricular activities on a Friday. If the said extra-curricular
activity would take place on a regular weekday, it would create a hassle on the students’
regular schedule. If ever the said activity would take part on a weekend or a holiday, the
students’ leisure time would be lessened and again, formulating a negative attitude.
Fridays should be declared as free days. If ever Fridays would be free, there’s no doubt
that students and faculty members would say: “Thank God it’s Friday!”
