INVOCATION:
Let my speech be rooted in my mind . Let my mind be rooted in my speech. Let Truth reveal itself to me.
Let the supreme wisdom stream down into my mind through the cosmic complexities of the process of
creation. Let my mind and speech enable me to grasp the essence of vedas. Let not what I realized and
heard forsake me. Let me acquire perfect wisdom by surpassing the contradictions like day and night,
vice and virtue.
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;where knowledge is free ;
where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
where words come out from the depth of truth;
where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
where the mind is led forward by thee into ever widening thought and action INTO THAT FREEDOM
OF HEAVEN, MY FATHER LET MY COUNTRY AWAKE-Geetanjali.
Yet again Rabindranath Tagore says “Now and then I get a glimpse of YOU. Why not always? Clouds
raise in my heart and obstruct YOUR vision”.
It is like clouds covering the sun .We long for the sight of the sun but clouds and fog hide it from us
suddenly the clouds part and we get a glimpse which is perhaps quickly covered again. Sudden flashes of
reality from the “Theja Bindu” in the heart reaching through our daily events but our mindset ,the senses,
the desire and pursuit of pleasures cover the divine light from the flame of the heart.
To understand the truth in the heart which is far behind the mind, we are required to develop sharpness of
mind. The mind is like a musical instrument; it has to be tuned properly to produce music. If the strings
are too slack or too taut the best music cannot be produced, thus an effort has to be made to tune the
human system both body and mind so that it can manifest the truth from the heart. This is the aim of
human life. The supramind then delights the transcendental spiritual experience.

This shows the desire of the writer philosopher expressing in words the ecstasy of world creation and his
thirst to reach the Supreme. Actually there is no path in the outside world and the Supreme Being for
enquiry, prayer and worship.
The inner path leading to thy heart is very subtle, far-reaching and is filled with lights of varied colours-
deep red, blue ,grey,green and white.Through this path the wise ,the virtuous people, having touched the
inner divine light reach the heavenly world in the heart after having been released from the fetters of
body-mind frame.
The form of Paramatma in the heart is, grey as the sheep wool , white as the fresh lotus, as the flame of
the fire, like the sudden lightning in the clouds and the electric flashes. Thus in the glittering ever glowing
light the Paramatma is ensconced in thy heart.
Brothers and sisters!! ,
Thou aren’t old and senior citizens if you understand and realize your true nature in the creation. We are
all co-travellers and companions seeking the path of illumination from our mind-body frame,the dark
region of ignorance in the waking state to the celestial domain in a dream and deep sleep states under the
inner divine light of the flame of the heart and that path is the subtlest far-reaching highway into that ever
glowing THEJA BINDU in our heart.
Know thy heart is the Swarga which ensures paramsantham,paramsukham,paramaanandam, parolokam
and paramasunyam which is sinless, pure, perfect and infinite. ”ut+EÆÊ = ŸtÆÊ; this Atma is in the heart.
The etymological explanation being the Atma is in the heart and that Atma is “I am “ know thus(i) the
Hrudaakasa and the Flaming Being therein is the Swarga;(ii) the astral body and the “Being” therein is the
Heaven (Brahma loka) and (iii)the mind region and the Jeeva therein in this physical body is the man
,with identity of Namaroopa, experiencing fear ,pleasure and misery everyday. Thus we are moving
everyday from the waking state into the Astral State to experience a dream world outside our physical
body and from that astral body into the flame of the heart and lose - “I” consciousness - free from all fears
,misery ,pleasure, possession, disease, decay and death only to be blissful, auspicious and serene eternally.

Can you now rejoice the famous upanishadic simile ? “On a long mighty tree of human life there liveth
two lovely birds of golden plume; one sitting atop always serene, silent and blissful looking down and
enjoying the glory and grandeur of the big tree. The other bird descending, hopping from branch to
branch plucks beautiful flowers and tasty fruits in variety; enjoying the geity and sumptuous meal of
tasteful delicacies, mouthing for more plucks this time a bitter fruit and tasting it feels dislike and aversion;
forgetting the bitterness poor bird again flutters and flies and this time grapples the bitterest one; chewing
and gulping which the bitter burning taste permeates all through the body inside and poor bird cannot
shake it off and retrieve itself, feels the very existence shaky and threatening; pausing a while, the bird
looks at its friend sitting atop mischievously smiling and the poor bird feebly ascending towards the
friend finally merges in it and feels infinite and eternal bliss and peace. This is in short the saga of human
life in this world.
This is self knowledge and the self being “I am” feeling, the life force which man totally ignores and runs
after the outside world through mind and senses in search of God and Heaven. Hence man is eternally
ignoramus. Whoever knows thus reaches the swarga in deep sleep everyday.

Alas! Caught in the mould of mind – thinking - memory and ego we are losing the pristine beatitude,
peace and plenty. We are caught in constant fear inborne ,misery and suffering. Hey strip of the delusive
mind and sense cover ; see the divine life behind the mind. Thus dehypnotise yourself, directing your
mind back into the heart by deep contemplation and realize thou art unborn,immortal ,omniscient ,
omnipresent and omnipotent .
