The epilogue shows that what we do to mother nature will always come back at

us. Our natural resources are not easy to replace; once destroyed and abused,
most of them can never return to their original state. Humans take advantage of
these resources and turn them into different forms for their personal gains.
However, we do not realize that when all else fails, nature is still our last resort
because it is the ultimate source of all our essential needs.

1. Lady Eboshi shoot to kill the forest spirit because it is believed that the
latter’s head grants immortality. She wanted to give the forest spirit’s
head as an offer to the Emperor in return for protection from Lord Asano
and because of indebtedness for helping her kill the boar god.

2. During the massive destruction, I felt dismayed. I felt that nature and the
lives of many are way too much in exchange for satisfying personal
human gains. It saddens me even more when I realized that such situation
happens not only in the movie, but in real life as well.
