Guidelines to be followed while making the CV:

The maximum page limit – 3 pages

1. Header
 Name: Book Antiqua size 18 (small caps)
 Other details (degree, email ID and phone number): Book Antiqua size 11
 Replace your photo with the existing photo or remove the current photo and put your photo.
2. The CV must be divided into the following headings:
 Academic Performance
 Areas of Interest
 Work Experience
 Co- curricular Activities (Moot Court Competitions, Courses and Publications)
 Positions of Responsibility
 Extra- curricular Activities
 References
3. The heads mentioned in above must be in Garamond Size 12 (small caps)
4. Content under each heading must be in Book Antiqua Size 11.
5. Academic Performance must include the following:
 Average Percentage (Till Semester IV)- Please confirm the same with the exam department
before adding it to your CV
 Current Percentage (Semester IV):
 Higher Secondary:
 Secondary
 Scholarships, if any (for college)
6. Areas of interest must not exceed 3 areas. Please note that two extremely different areas
cannot be added to the same bullet. For eg., International Criminal Law and Mergers and
Acquisitions cannot be one bullet.
7. Work experience:
 Order: Last internship to first internship
 The details of the internship must be mentioned as: 1. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas,
Delhi (November 7, 2016 to November 29, 2016 4 weeks)
 The details of work done must be mentioned in points.
8. Co- curricular activities will include only moot court competitions, publications and paper
presentations and courses.
9. Positions of Responsibility include committees and centers.
10. Extracurricular activities include:
 Debates
 MUNs
 Sports
 Cultural Activities
11. While adding references, please mention their email ID and mobile number only after
confirming with the said person.
12. Each bullet must end with a full stop.
13. Square bullets must be used and not round bullets.
