*Anxiety of going outside the house and socializing other

people within the community.
- Earlier, the DSM-I and -II (APA 1952, 1968) grouped it
with all other phobias, and to this day psychologists
still refer to SAD as social phobia (SP; Furmark 2002;
Hudson and Rapee 2000).
People with SAD are also less likely to marry than those
who do not have this disorder. Overall, there is a
reduction in quality of life, an increase in alcohol and
drug misuse and a risk of suicide (Baldwin and Buis
2004). Unfortunately, most cases go untreated given there
is a relative lack of awareness of the symptoms by the
general population (Furmark 2002; Schneier 2006). Source:

Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide
information about the current problem of the world, give
awareness, what is the sign and symptoms of having
anxiety and on how they can cope with this problem.
Another, is to promote empowerment within ourselves.

*The increase number of suicide due to the current

situation of the world.
- Suicide prevention is given a low priority in many
Western Pacific countries due to competing health problems,
stigma and poor understanding of its incidence and
etiology. Little is known about the epidemiology of suicide
and suicidal behaviour in the Philippines. Source:

Therefore, the goals of this study is to enhance the
knowledge about the causes of suicide and what are the sign
and symptoms of this and to provide alternative activities
to help someone in this situation.
