UNCITRAL formulates modern, fair and harmonized standards to regulate commercial operations. Its activities
are mainly the following:

- Elaboration of conventions, model laws and acceptable standards worldwide

-Preparation of legal and legislative guides and the formulation of recommendations of great practical value

- Submission of update information on jurisprudence relating to instrumental and standards of uniform


commercial law and its incorporation into domestic law

- Provision of technical assistance in legislative reform projects

- Organization of regional and national seminars on uniform commercial law
