GALVANOMETER

GALVANOMETER
Galvanometer is an electrical measuring instrument used to measure the
strength of currents and electrical potential differences that are relatively small.
Galvanometer can not be used to measure the current strength or the difference
in electrical potential that is relatively large, because of its internal components
that do not support.
A Galvanometer has four parts: scale, a magnet, spindle, and a switch. Scale
is a number of lines that are the same distance between, used to measure size
indicators. Magnet have two poles north and south, magnet are fixed
permanently. Spindle is a coil of electric wire that can be flowed through, this
spindle will rotate around a magnet and connected to the switch and scale. A
Switch is a device used to disconnect the electricity network, or to connect it. So
the switch is basically a connecting device to circuit.
A galvanometer is made of plastic and aluminium. This galvanometer is
made in China. A galvanometer is shaped like a radio, but if the radio is for music,
this is for measuring current and voltage. A galvanometer is triangular prism in
shape and cube shape for analog on the front. The galvanometer has a weight of
350 gr. Dimension of length is 120 mm, width 150 mm, height 115 mm. The color
is black on the sides and white on the scale.
A galvanometer connection to the object example a battery, on the front of
a galvanometer there are three devices, the positive axis is connected to the red
color while the negative color connected to black color.
