Key resources of Malaysia

 Malaysia has an abundance of petroleum and crude oil reserves, which places it fourth in Asia
after China, India and Vietnam. Petronas is the largest Malaysian company in this sector, which
is also a national company and generates US$46.06 billion annually.
 Malaysia is also rich in agricultural resources such as natural rubber and palm oil. The country is
the second largest exporter of palm oil after Indonesia and 4 th largest exporter of natural rubber
in the world as of 2019.
 Malaysia is also rich in precious materials and has many mining sites that mines precious
materials such gold, tin and limestone.
