Should people make their decisions?

In no matter what era, people always thrived for freedom in their countries. Be it in
Eastern or Northern Countries, but there were times when their wishes or demands
weren’t granted and that caused many problems. Rally’s, strikes, protests. This showed us
many times that people wanted their free will back, to have their own lives and be able to
be in charge of their decisions.
I asked three different countries’ citizens their opinions about this topic and all of them
agreed on the fact that people should have opportunity to make their own decisions, but all
of them agreed on one thing. Government should take actions and decide people’s
lifestyles in few circumstances. For example during pandemics and grieve moments, like
war, Natural cataclysms etc. In other ways from this little self-made enquire, I looked at the
bigger picture and found out about people’s opinions from outside my country.
As I said in the beginning, no matter which country, people always wants freedom and I
agree on others opinions as well, people should have opportunity to choose their own
lifestyle, but sometimes there are moments when government should interfere too, for the
sake of our safety.
