ARTICLE REVIEW

In this review we will have two articles on communication, the first is MEDIA AND
BULLYNG. CHARACTERIZATION OF THE HABITS, PREFERENCES AND USES THAT YOUNG
UNIVERSITY PEOPLE MAKE OF ICTs AND THEIR POTENTIAL IN UNIVERSITY COEXISTENCE,
written by teachers Giuliano Seni and Martha Romero in the year 2017, and the second is
COMMUNICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL CHANGE: INFLUENCING SOCIAL
CHANGE: INFLUENCING SOCIAL CHANGE FOR AN INCLUSIVE SOCIETY IN MONTENEGRO,
written by Jelena Perovic and Rafael Obregón in 2017.

Just by looking at the titles of these two articles we can begin to deduce what each one is
about, the key and what unites these two articles is the field of communication, the
advancement of the media, the social. Even though the first was done for the investigation
of a specific city and the other for a country.

First hand we can find in the first article that the big problem is bullying, with the city of
Barranquilla as its central focus and more specifically on the young university students of
that city. On the other hand we have the second article that tells us about a strategy that
was created in the country of Montenegro to fight against practices that exclude people
with disabilities, this movement was given the name of "It's about ability", which was
received in the best way, was a participatory campaign, focused on the public and guided
by the key principles of communication planning.

Looking at the first article, we can come to the conclusion that one in every 5 university
students from Barranquilla who participated in this study suffered an approach to
bullying. For this reason, it is necessary to promote the behavior of young people in
training, and a very good way to attract their attention is through social networks, since
today's young people have these networks linked to their daily lives.
Regarding the second article, we can see that the campaign proposed by UNICEF was a
great example of communication, since it mobilized children, parents, teachers, entire
communities, local and national authorities.
