Controller of Examinations
Important Instructions for the Candidates

1. Entire Test Centre, floors and walls, door, gate etc. will be sprayed with disinfectant and examination hall will be sanitized after every shift.
Washrooms would be cleaned and disinfected and arrangement of liquid soaps and sanitizers would be made at appropriate places. Seating
area of candidates will be sanitized after every session. Still it is imperative for the candidates to ensure that they:
a. Maintain a distance of at least 2 meters whenever standing in the queue or walking in and out of the examination hall.
b. Wear face mask all the time.
c. Wash their hands with liquid soap/ hand sanitizerfrequently.
2. The seating plan has been done to ensure a distance of 6 feet between each candidate.
3. Candidates should always be wearing mask and considering the pandemic should carry with them in addition to admit card, pen, ID card, (a)
masks (b)gloves, (c)personal transparent water bottle, (d)personal hand sanitizer (50 ml). No other item will be permitted to carry inside the
venue. In case of candidate with scribe, both the candidate and the scribe must bring their own mask.
4. Candidates are advised to download theAarogyaSetu App if they have mobile phones. As mobile phones are not allowed inside the examination
hall/room, the Candidates, after entry in the Examination Centre, will switch off their mobile phones and deposit it at the designated location, to
be collected while exiting.
5. Thermal scanning of candidates would be done before they enter the Examination Centre.
6. Photograph of every candidate would be taken at the Examination Centre before they are allowed to sit for the examination. Therefore,
candidates are advised to report at the center at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination for completion of said
formalities in time and to avoid crowding at the time of entry.
7. No entry in the examination centre shall be permitted after commencement of the examination.
8. Candidates must carry with them their Identity Authentication document (mentioned above as Identification type) along with this Admit Card
failing which entry in the Examination Center/Hall shall not be allowed.
9. Candidates must affix self-attested recent passport size photograph matching with the one uploaded in the online application, on the space
provided above before entering in the test hall.
10. Candidates are not allowed to carry any text material, printed or written, piece of paper, calculator, slide rules, log tables, pager and other
electronic devices inside the examination hall/room. Therefore, candidates are advised not to bring aforesaid prohibited items/ personal
belongings while coming for the examinations as they will have to leave them outside the premises of the Examination Centre at their own risk
and the examination centre shall not be responsible in case the items are lost/stolen.

11. Blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination Hall/Room. Candidates must write their name and Roll Number at the top
of the sheet, and must return the sheet to the invigilator, before leaving the examination Hall/Room.
12. Candidates should take their allotted seats immediately after entering in to the Examination Hall. They can login and read instructions, before the
commencement of the examination.
13. Candidates should sit only on the computer nodes allotted to them. Candidates must see their details on the computer screen before starting the
examination. The computer node allotted to candidates who are absent should be left vacant.
14. Impersonation shall lead to cancellation of the candidature over and above other suitable action(s) against the candidate. Candidates found
copying or resorting to any unfair means including giving/receiving help to /from any candidate during the test or violating any conditions of test
will be summarily disqualified. Such candidates will also forfeit all claims for admission in the University in future.
15. Candidates should maintain complete silence during the examination and communication in any form between the candidates or with outsiders
will be treated as unfair means.
16. Candidates may approach the Centre Superintendent in case of any technical difficulty and should abide by his/her instructions and decisions.
Complaints, if any, regarding the examination should be given in writing to the Centre Superintendent of the centre.
17. Candidates must note that their admission to the test is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the admit card has been issued does not imply that
the candidature has been finally accepted by the University or that the entries made in online application for test have been accepted by BHU as
true and correct. It may also be noted that the University will take up the verification of eligibility conditions i.e. age, educational qualifications and
category (i.e. SC/ST/OBC/Physically challenged/Sports Quota/Employee ward etc.) with reference to the original documents only at the time of
counseling.
18. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the closure of the test.
19. For practical exposure of writing examination in CBT mode, a ‘Mock Test’ has been provided on the portal. 'CBT Manual' is also available on the
portal. Candidates are advised to first go through 'CBT Manual' given on the portal before attempting the Mock Test.
20. Candidates are also advised to check only BHU’s entrance test portal (www.bhuonline.in) regularly for updates on entrance test related
information, declaration of results, counselling schedules, etc. They may also check their mail box on the registered E-mail address and SMS in
their registered Mobile No. for latest updates and information, if any.
21. THIS ADMIT CARD MUST BE RETAINED TILL ADMISSION.
