    As University of Makati is one of the oldest University in the City, preservation and
    maintenance of the building is a must.

    BACKGROUND
    As University of Makati Academic Building 1 is subjected to earthquake ground motion
    its seismic design play a vital role in its structural analysis since the facility continue its
    function even after the earthquake by adopting different types of structural system we can
    enhance its seismic behavior.
