Chapter 5:

Winter passed, and spring returned to the river bank.The Mole and the River Rat went in to breakfast
and had nearly finished when they heard a heavy knock on the door, that was Mr Badger. The Badger
said that he would teach the Toad a lesson that day. And then, they went to save the Toad from the fast
motor-car. They pulled of his overcoat, hat and goggles. The Badger told the Toad to repeat his promise
in front of them, but he refused. The Badger told the Mole and the Water Rat to take the Toad upstairs
and lock him in his bedroom.
