III. SIMULATION RESULT -2

IV. CONCLUSIONS
The self-inductance and inductance parameters of
stator and rotor loops are calculated by air-gap permeance
method in this paper, in which the harmonics in air gap
magnetic field were considered. The time variant
waveforms of the inductance are obtained by numerical
simulation which consists with the actual structure of
generator winding. The paper proposes multi-loop
mathematical model of turbine generators with inter-turn
short circuits fault of field windings. Based on the model,
the stator phase currents which verify the correctness of
the model have been obtained in normal rated load
operating conditions. After generator short circuits fault
happens under the rated load operating conditions, the
currents in stator winding parallel branches of same phase
