Of which, 35 persons were declared dead while 20 persons have already recovered. Meanwhile, 615 persons are considered Persons Under Investigation (PUIs). On 12 March 2020, 9:00 PM, a Presidential Press conference was conducted announcing the raising of the Philippine's COVID-19 Alert Level System to Code Red Sublevel 2. The Chief Executive approved the imposition of Stringent Social Distancing Measures in the National Capital Region (NCR) for thirty (30) days, effective 15 March 2020. c. On 16 March 2020, a Memorandum from the Executive Secretary was issued placing the entire Luzon under Enhanced Community Quarantine. d. The entire Philippines was declared under State of Calamity due to Corona Virus Disease 2019 as per Presidential Proclamation No. 929 dated 16 March 2020. A.
