EAST COAST RAILWAY EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO.04/2020-CMP Date: 14.05.2020 “ENGAGEMENT OF DOCTORS (GDMOy ON CONTRACT” |n view of the exigencies related with the COVID-19 pandemic and in view of ensuring adequate Preparedness for Covid Care Centres in 169 coaches in 17 train rakes for management of COVID-19 by Medical Department of KUR division it has been decided to engage ‘Contract Medical Practitioners (CMP) on femporary basis in Khurda Road Division, East Coast Railway from willing, eligible Doctors, for a period of 3 (three) months from the date of such engagement, which can be extended purely on adminisrative ‘requirement and willingness of concemed CMP, or till the scheme is available, whichever is earlier. A Walk in-Interview will be conducted to adjudge the suitability ofthe willing doctors. The details ofthe scheme are given below:- TOTAL NO OF VACANCIES.- 102 (One Hundred Two) for managing the Covid Care Train Coaches Since the posts are over and above the sanctioned posts on temporary measure, no prescribed community distribution (SC/ST/OBC) is applicable, NB ‘1. THE VACANCIES MAY ALTER AS PER ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENT AT ANY ‘TIME DURING THE ENGAGEMENT, 2. The administration reserves the right to place the engaged CMPs anywhere in the jurisdiction of ECOR (KUR Divn), 3. RETIRED RAILWAY DOCTORS, RETIRED GOVERNMENT MEDICAL RS_OF STATE GOVERNMENT AND CENTRAL GOVERNMENT WHO ARE PHYSICALLY FIT UPTO 65 YEARS OF AGE ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/ELIGIBILITY : The candidate should be a minimum MBBS pass degree from an institute recognized by the Indian Medical Council and with registration in Indian Medical Council, or with a valid registration certificate of any of the State Medical Councils of India after completion of one year of compulsory, rotatory Intemship. No other certificates will be accepted. Higher qualification, if any, will be given due preference. AGE (i) Not exceeding 53 years of age as on 01,05, 2020, However, age relaxation is admissible for $ years for SC/ST category candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates. (ii) For retired Railway Doctor, retired Government Medical Doctors of State Governments and Central Government, age to be considered is 65 years as on 01.05.2020. REMUNERATION : ‘a. Monthly remuneration is © 75,000/-(including HRA & Transport Allowance) for Full Time General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO). b. For retired Railway Doctors, retired Government Medical Doctors of State Government and Central Government, the monthly. remuneration, as decided by Railway Board, is subject to the condition that the pension plus contractual remuneration of the Retired Doctors should not exceed than the last Pay drawn at the time of retirement. No Deamess and any other allowances which are admissible to regular Railway Servants shall be admissible. © In case a railway accommodation is provided to the CMP, an amount equivalent to license fees in ‘normal rent of the accommodation so provided shall be deducted from the monthly fees admissible. (Page | of 2) byOTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS @ Selected candidates will be subjected to medical examination and only medically ft candidates will be engaged as CMP. i) The Contract Medical Practitioner who enters contract with Railways will not have any claim or Tight for hisyher continuity or automatic extension ofthe term of contract, Gil) During the validity of the contract, the CMP will be at liberty to terminate the contract for betterment of hisher career or any other ground by giving 1 days prior notice tothe Railways. The contract can also be terminated by the Railways at any time during the contac by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reasons whatsoever. The contact shall also be terminated by the Railways administration if the CMP is found to be mentally o physically incapacitated (js) _ Engagement as CMP will not confer any right for automatic regularization or absorption in railways. (¥) The CMP may avail of free medical treatment for self only except operations categorized as ‘special’ in para 622(8) of IRMM 2000 and treatment normally available at super specialty centre from his/her respective zonal railway hospitals during the currency of contract. (vi) The detailed instructions with regard to the duties while in contrat in Railways shall be given to CMP concemed in the event of selection along with the offer of engagement. (vil) Appearance in the interview/application for the post will not vest any right upon the eandidate to be engaged as CMP & no reasons will be cited or communication shall be made withthe candidate in the event of candidate not getting selected. (viii) The administration of the ECoR/Khurda Road reserves absolute right to eancel this notification without assigning any reason(s). No Railway privilege passes/PTOs shall be admissible to Retired Railway Doctors engaged as CMP in histher capacity of CMP. However, “Duty passes’, as per eligibility would be provided for ‘outstation duties 1 the CMs. (x) The engagement is purely for managing COVID-19 for the patients to be admitted in the Covid Care Coaches set up by the railway.
