Title: Environmental Pollution

Summary:
Industrialized factories, incorrect dumping of garbage, and unlawful actions of
individuals are the three main factors of the environmental contamination and it resulted in a
negative alteration of our environment (Escullar, Figueroa, Hayag, Iban, Ibuos, Inso, Javier,
Labos, Mendoza, and Nate, 2020).

Paraphrase:
As expressed by Escullar, Figueroa, Hayag, Iban, Ibuos, Inso, Javier, Labos, Mendoza,
and Nate (2020), the adverse shift in our environment is the result of environmental
contamination, derived from activities made by humanity. The authors pointed out that there are
three main determinants. First is the globalization of factories where the dangerous chemicals
pollute the sources of water and the black smoke emitted from the factories continue to
deteriorate our ozone layer. Second is the inappropriate handling of garbage where it not only
affects our economy, but it also affects our land physically like land pollution where crops are
mainly affected, and the spread of certain illnesses like problems in breathing and exasperation
of our skin. Last determinant is the illicit actions of humanity like mining illicitly, where it
causes harm to biotic and abiotic factors.

Direct Quote:
Escullar, Figueroa, Hayag, Iban, Ibuos, Inso, Javier, Labos, Mendoza, and Nate (2020)
stated that “environmental pollution as a by-product of human action is indeed an unfavorable
change in our surroundings.” The authors emphasized that there are three main stimuli of
environmental contamination, which are “industrialization, improper waste management, and
illegal human activities.”
