They're coming.
Ben, are you all going to be making this metric a regular request, and is there a press conference today? I thought
all had been moved to every Thursday. Let us know because this helps us plan so we're aren't doing things last
minute.
Thanks!
This is great, thank you! Interesting to see the changes. What can you tell us about the cluster numbers?
Please see below. Any change less than one percent I deemed to be neutral.
Thanks!

For context, we are trying to help tell the story of where (what type of activities) the new cases came from.
Hope you had a good Monday. Can you please provide me with an updated version of both of these tables? They
were very helpful the first time and we would like an eye into the recent cases. One table for case breakdown by
sector and then one for updated cluster numbers. I think we can just build on that same time period, but add a third
week. Josh made before/after heat maps using July 15th as the start date for this recent wave, so can we use that
as the start date for these tables too? Thanks!
Benjamin
Essentially we need this updated to answer the question the mayor is asking

I'm assuming you're all going to the same meeting, so here's what we just sent Ben. Note the dramatic change in
proportion for household, and also note the timeframes for the mass gathering case counts, then also the cluster
information for bars and restaurants. Also please note these are confirmed cases only, not probable, symptomatic,
or contacts.
Hey Ben,
As you can see—big shift over the last two weeks. Last week's interviews have really quickly and dramatically
shifted things (shift from household to a number of exposure types). We've also added some categories over the
last month, and these are reflected here. It's the first time we've released these since we had to get our
investigators used to using this section of the data collection form, so please know that these are not hard and fast
numbers. We can polish for release if needed though after validation. Please note that 6.1% of mass gatherings
have really only increased over the last week, even though that's showing a two week period. That equates to 146
cases.

We really need the data resulting from contact tracing by 2pm today. How many new cases are coming from bars?
How many from gatherings, etc?
Thanks

Correct, not for public consumption. To help understand and guide policy formulation. Many thanks!
Ok, give me (and by me I mean Josh) some time to pull it together tomorrow. I can send the cluster data separately
from what Josh will pull. This isn't going to be publicly released, right? Just info for Mayor's Office?
Thanks, Leslie. I am interested in countywide contact tracing data, particularly for new cases over the last 14 days.
Looking to see what sort of activity has been most related to new cases. As soon as you can send it over to me
would be great. Thank you!

Hey Ben,
We have data for our clusters, which is very specific to a place and the type, and then we have on a less specific
scale variables that indicate whether the case originated from household, community, healthcare, travel, or other
sources.
Hi guys, is there data you can share with me about the number of cases that originate from various sources? For
instance, how many cases have spread at bars? How many from gatherings? Weddings?
Thanks,
