Essay
I could start this essay by writing about what happened in the story, but I prefer to talk

about my opinion and thoughts about this story. As a person who loves to interpret

everything in different ways, I think that all the Danny's challenges are metaphors about

how people learn how to live their lives when they accept their fears and at the same

time being brave about all the challenges in life.

I know that McKell was sad about her brother's death, but sometimes the endings are

opportunities to new beginnings, and maybe she was the right person in Flint's life

when he didn't have any friends when he was completely alone. Those characters were

humans with their fears and wishes, but something really beautiful for me was to look

how they grow up together in a nonliteral way, this book was also like a proof that

persons that you least expect can be exactly what they needed, and how friendship can

help you to deal the life easier, how friends can teach you how to believe in yourself

first, not caring about anything more than your qualities, and how a disease or a hard

situation in life can't stop you to be a great person.

Flint was very good doing comics, McKell had a precious voice, and they always

support themselves, as true friends do. It's important to say that it doesn't matter who

you are or how you look, if you are a good person you deserve to be happy, and there

is nothing better than sharing happiness with a friend, a true friend, even if it's only

one, that's enough to be successful in life.
