activities and increase a company's profit. In this case, our body language speaks volumes
about our state of mind, our sense of self-worth, and our level of confidence in a given
situation.
Reflecting on the video on how to spot a liar by Pamela Meyer, our body language
will always tell the truth whether a person is lying or not. According to Pamela, lying is a
cooperative act; it has no power as its power arises when a person decides to believe the lie.
Pamela classifies liars to have certain body expressions that they incorporate as they try to
make it sound true while lying; these expressions include faking a smile and a cry just like
babies do and pause waiting to see who is coming and then continue. Others use distancing
language to distance themselves from the subject, shake their heads and shoulders while
speaking, and even when lips are silent, they chatter with fingertips.

after watching Pamela’s video includes; are we really all liars? Is using body language
wrong? and how sure are lying spotters that one is lying by just looking into various
expressions? Other questions include; since lying is a cooperative act, does it mean the liar
and the person being lied to are participating? How and in which way does the person being
lied to become a participant, yet he or she does not know the information and its truth? As my
closing in this topic is that, we might all be liars at some point but to sport liars through
looking into body expression is not a major answer to this question how to stop a liar.
