DEFINE THE FOLLOWING

1. Architect: An architect makes the plan of a house, multi-storey

buildings, schools etc.

2. Carpenter: The carpenter does the wood work. He makes and

repairs furniture’s, doors and windows etc.

3. Painter: The painter paints the walls and roofs of houses and
buildings.

4. Gardener: A person who takes care of the plants and gardens is

a gardener.

5. Teacher: A person who teaches any subject in schools, colleges

etc is called a teacher.

6. Mechanic: A person who repairs scooters, motorcycles and

other vehicles is called a mechanic.

7. Driver: A person who drives bus, car, truck and other vehicles is
called a driver.

8. Doctor: A person who treats us when we are ill or injured is a

doctor. He gives medicines to cure the sickness.
