Pre- Assessment

1. What do you see in the picture? Describe their appearance and expressions.

Biological evolution is the alteration of hereditary features throughout groups of

species over subsequent generations. Adaptation is a central evolutionary mechanism
in which, by natural selection, changes in the fitness of traits and organisms are
modified to become more desirable for life in particular ecological environments.

Through improvements in nature, the climate works to facilitate evolution. To

understand the processes of adaptation, it is also important to decide how
developmental changes are regulated.

2. What is happening in the photo?

Biological evolution is the alteration of hereditary features throughout groups of

species over subsequent generations. When diversity is introduced into a population
through gene mutation or genetic recombination or is eliminated through natural
selection or genetic drift, evolutionary alteration of traits occurs.
