CLAIMS:
Claim of Fact:
The government and the president are doing their very best to solve the crisis we are facing today
amidst the lack of equipment needed.

Claim of Policy:
The citizens should follow the precautionary measures implemented by the government such as
stay at home and social distancing to prevent the increase of covid 19 cases.

Claim of Value:
It is improper to bash the government and the president without even realizing and appreciating
their efforts to prevent the virus from spreading.

The government are trying their best to keep the country and the citizens safe despite all the
criticisms they have received. As I have seen on social media, the people are blaming the government
about the rise of cases of covid 19 in the Philippines. It is not entirely the fault of the government, but
there are also some citizens that contributes to the increase of cases. The government implements various
measures such as social distancing and to stay at home, and to wear mask. But there are some people who
can’t follow such simple instructions. Before the people criticize the government, I think they should
discipline first their selves. It is not easy for the government to respond to this crisis but they are trying
and doing their best for the sake of the Filipino citizens. It is just unfair for the part of the government to
receive all the hate and criticisms, without even knowing that they are putting their lives at stake for the
sake of millions of Filipinos. In these trying times, cooperation is really needed. Nothing will happen if
we keep on blaming others. It is the time for the Filipinos to stand as one and fight together the threat we
are facing to defend our beloved country and our fellow citizens.
