Primary health care is an essential health care provided by the governments. Medical
deliveries can be transported to fixed clinics or by making use of mobiles in rural areas
where people live far from the clinics and do not have transport. When we talk about
primary health care, we talked about care that is essential to the communities to prevent
health risks as well as death. Primary health care services consist of free dental
checkups, delivering babies, immunization and many more. In this time of pandemic,
the Department of Health is prioritizing health care for the people who live in hinterland
areas for them to be aware of the virus which is the Coronavirus also known as
Covid19.

2. Why do the elements of the Primary Health Care and some the Department
of Health programs are the same?

Department of health and primary health care services both goal is prioritizing better
health services for all. They both organize health services around people’s needs and
expectations, integrating health into all factors.
