​ yft Card Redemption Instructions

Congratulations! You’ve completed a Milestone in the SAIL Program . Now, you can 
spend your Cash-for-Completion. These instructions show you how to redeem your Gyft 
payment. 
 
During this process, ​YOU DO NOT​ need to enter payment information at any point in 
time! 
 
Website Instructions: 
1. You should have an email from the SAIL Program with your Cash-for-Completion 
via Gyft. It will look like this:

2. Click the link in the email: “Choose Your Gift Cards”. 

 
 
3. If you want to redeem your Cash-for-Completion on a browser, visit the Gyft 
website at: h

4. Create a login. Use the email that you used to sign up for SAIL ​ ​!

5. If you sign up with email, you must verify your email account. Make sure you 
have access to the email account you sign up with! To verify your account, click 
the link in the email you received from Gyft. 

 
 
6. Once you’ve verified your email, you can login with your new username and 
password to access all of your Cash-for-Completion!

7. After you login, your screen should look something like this: 

 
 
8. Your Gyft card balance will be applied to your account, under the “My Wallet” tab.

 9. Click “Shop Now” and use the funds to purchase a Gift Card at any of the Gyft 
retailers. ​YOU DO NOT n
​ eed to enter any payment information!

 
 
10. Select where you’d like to spend your earnings, and press the “Buy for Yourself” 
button to purchase a gift card with the funds in your account. Make sure you 
choose a Gift Card that is the same or less than the amount in your Gyft “My 
Wallet”. ​YOU DO NOT ​need to enter any payment information!

11. Use the QR code or Bar code at checkout to pay with your new gift card!

App Instructions: 
 
1. On your mobile device, ​click this link to download the Gyft app for Apple or this 
link for Google Play​. 
 
2. Download the Gyft app.

3. Create a login with your Email, Facebook, or Google+ account. Use the email that 
you used to sign up for SAIL !

 4. Enter your email and create a password. 

 
 
5. If you sign up with email, you must verify your email account. Make sure you 
have access to the email account you sign up with! To verify your account, click 
the link in the email you received from Gyft.

6. Log in with your new username and password. 

 
 
7. Gyft may ask you to verify the mobile device you are using. To verify your mobile 
device, check your email again, and open the verification email from Gyft. Click 
the link to verify your mobile device.

8. You can now login to the Gyft app and access your Cash-for-Completion. Enter 
your username and password, and you’ll be presented with the dashboard:  

 
 
9. Your earnings will automatically be placed in your Gyft account, they can be 
found under the “Wallet” tab in the bottom left (shown above).

10. Click “Buy from hundreds of brands” to see the list of potential retailers. 

 
 
11. Select where you’d like to spend your earnings, the list will look like this:

 12. Select the amount you would like to be applied to your gift card and select the 
“Buy” button to purchase a gift card. Make sure to purchase a gift card amount 
that is the same or less than your “Wallet” amount. 

  
 
13. Select the Gyft payment method and use the funds in your account from 
SAIL. ​YOU DO NOT ​need to enter any payment information!

14. Show this to the cashier and use the QR code or Bar code at checkout to pay 
with your gift card. You can also enter the code to redeem your gift card online.
