Nowadays, governments spend a lot of money to get rid of homeless dogs. Some
people think that only the government should take care of them. I do not agree with
this idea.
Firstly, if people will not stop putting their puppies in the street, no government
can solve this problem alone. For instance, in Pakistan the government spent
millions of dollars to solve the problem of homeless dogs, but in a few years, there
was the same number of dogs in the streets, like it was before.
Secondly, if people will not take care of their dogs at home, even they can run and
live in the streets. In Great Britain, there are about one million homeless dogs and
scientists say that most of them used to live at home and then were fled from their
families, because they lived in a terrible situation.
In conclusion, many governments try to solve this huge problem, because many of
homeless dogs, bite passers-by or even people are aggressive to animals, but as I
said above, the government can not solve this problem alone.
