1.1 Document Purpose:

The purpose of SRS document of Online Admission System is to specify
requirement of our system with the SAS version 1.0 .The main purpose of this system to
automate the admission system of school. This system is an online system that can be
accessed throughout the organization and outside as well with proper login provided.
System has two type of accessing modes, administrator and user. When a user logs in
to the system he would only view details of the student. He can't perform any changes.
1.2 Product Scope:
 The online admission system of school is to provide the facility to conduct an
online admission for user. The information enter by student later only edited by
administrator of our system. The administration of school management system provide
the list of eligibility criteria for the admission. The admission system will maintain the
admission process of nursery student primary student and higher student. The
administrative of school management system can change
1.3 Intended Audience and Document Overview:
This Document is intended for all school staff, school principle, and administrative staff.
Section 1.1 to 1.6: in this section explain project scope, purpose of document, reference
required for project abbreviations, and acronyms.
Section 2 .1 to 2.4: provides overview of project, functionality of project, assumption and
dependencies
Section 3.1: provides details how the functionality and features will be implemented in system.

2.2 Product Functionality:

These are some main functionality of system
 Manage registration and entire admission process of the students for each
academic year.
 Storing student’s previous school history and certificates.
 Admission of students to a specific academic year in a specific stream, medium,
standard.
 Accept / Reject student admissions.
 On acceptance of admission process, automatic transfer of details of the student
to student database and school records.
 Get complete view of the student’s admission form with photo.
 Generate customized reports to get statistics of student admission.

2.3 Design and Implementation Constraints:

 The student has no rights to edit any type of data available in the system
 The students have no rights to delete his record from the system
 The students have no rights to register more than one degree
 The online fee submission facility restricted if school management want’s
 The system uses HTTP or HTTPS protocol in case of online

2.4 Assumptions and Dependencies:

 System administrator is already created in the system
 Program offered by school is already created and information available for use
 Roles and responsibility are already established
 The Local Area Network (LAN)is well maintained
 System time and calendar settings are accurate
