Greetings!

I, Alrond Jhae A. Abad, licensed professional teacher, would gladly to apply to as Administrative Officer
II in Administrative Division, DPWH Regional Office I of Pandayan, Alaminos City, Pangasinan. Despite
of not being a resident of Pandayan, Alaminos City, Pangasinan because I’m from Manaoag,
Pangasinan; I just want to seek opportunity in applying my Major which is Mathematics to as a
Administrative Officer II is seeking for. I finished my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in
Mathematics and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and has started pursuing my graduate
studies last year. I am enrolled under the program of Master of Arts in Education – Major in
Mathematics at Pangasinan State University and already finished 18 units. My educational background
and my interest in the development of the students led me to join in different teacher training programs
which honed my skills in teaching the discipline I have chosen. I also joined In-service training for SHS
teacher which my certificate is included after my letter.

In experience as a secondary school teacher, I taught grade 7,8 ,9, 11 and 12 students. In the period of
one year, I have given quite effective for a beginner teacher in classroom management, dynamic
activities, well-constructed and student-centered lesson plans, detailed student evaluations and well-
complimented instructional delivery. Managing the different abilities of my students proved a difficult
but gratifying challenge. I facilitated interesting but equally challenging activities to maintain their
interest of my high-level students without intimidating the less-skilled ones. Thus, I want to apply my
professional skills of being one of Administrative Officer II.
