Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) with answers:

1.How can we attend our online classes?

Online classes may be synchronous or asynchronous learning. Therefore, when you say “attend,”
you are probably referring to synchronous learning sessions or virtual classes where you can see
you teachers on screen in real time. For this type of class, you may have your sessions through
Zoom, Google Meet, or whatever has been decided either by your class or your class instructor.
For these online meetings, you will be given a meeting ID and passcode.
Each student must have an email address issued by the University. This email will entitle you to
log-in to our learning management system (LMS) where materials related to your courses have
been uploaded. For each class, you will be given an Access Code.
Your contact numbers were also gathered so that you can receive other instructions through text
messages.

4.If we availed of the modular option, how can we get the modules?

If you can still receive messages via email, you can request the modules to be sent to you. If not,
you can ask for the module copied using the USB or a printout of the module sent to you through
mail courier or picked up from the campus by you or your representative.
5.What are subjects offered in the Cycle 1? How about in Cycle 2?

The subjects for the first and second cycles are those subjects that you are supposed to be taking
for the first semester. Most of your GE subjects are offered during the first cycle while most of
your major subjects are scheduled for the second cycle. However, there may be exceptions. The
primary basis for the schedule of classes, however, is the possibility of offering them fully
online. Thus, if a certain class is mostly composed of theories, it will probably fall on the first
cycle.

6.What do you mean by synchronous and asynchronous learning?

Synchronous learning refers to virtual learning. This means that you are engaged in a class
activity online with your teacher and your classmates, and you are able to interact in real time
through Zoom, Google Meet, or other means of virtual interaction (visual and audio).

You may communicate with your teachers through their mobile phones, messenger, or email.

The University simply requires you to dress decently. Sleeveless or other revealing outfit are not
allowed. You can also use your uniform if you prefer to do so.

9.Should we encounter technical problems during our virtual classes, how can we get help?

This is one of the things that we can anticipate. If you happen to encounter technical difficulty,
simply inform your teacher through other means of communication right away so that you may
still be able to receive the content of the lesson or discussion that you missed.

10.Is there need to enroll again for Cycle 2? What do we need to do?

When you enroll, you are already enrolling for the whole semester. You simply have to take
some of your classes during the first cycle and have the rest during the second cycle.
