Universal culture is a set of values and/or rules that hold true for almost all communities around the

world. Examples of elements that may be considered cultural universals are gender roles,
marriage, language, art, dance, music, cooking, games, jokes, sports, birth and death because they involve
some sort of ritual ceremonies accompanying them, etc. Where I come from, the people do not belong to
any mainstream religion but focus on ancestral and nature worship. Our culture emphasizes hospitality
and respect towards nature and elders. Some basic values I feel every culture should embody are;
humility, tolerance, and dependability.
