ULASAN : This short talk introduces the basic understanding of cognition and
how the mind interprets incoming information and makes sense of
it.

By having a greater understanding of one’s mind, a person will be

able to utilize proven science-based approaches to improve one’s
multimedia presentation designs and increase its effectiveness in
communicating with their audience.

This introductory talk to mind science;

- Describes how we learn
- Explains the workings of the human memory based on
o Information processing theory
o Dual coding theory (dual learning channels
o Generative learning theory
- Implications of learning, understanding and the memory of
effectiveness of Multimedia presentations

The talk also enables people to get started and confidently assure
everybody that there is a better way to design multimedia
presentations that;
 Increases ATTENTION
 Manages SURFACE LEARNING
 Fosters DEEP THINKING
IMPAK PADA DIRI / The talk helps me to understand the characteristics and science of
TUGAS HARIAN the human mind and ways to utilize multimedia presentations in
ANDA : order to provide a more effective deliverance to my audiences.

In my case, this allows me to understand the things I need to do

and focus on to make my presentations more effective and
engaging for my lessons in the future
