Beneficence/ non- maleficence

Beneficence and non – maleficence is one of the principles of bioethics in this principle I
agree 100 percent because it's very helpful in the field of medicine it helps both doctor's
and patient. Beneficence is an action and the result is good or can cure the illness of
the patient and make him or her healthy but the process is difficult or hard in the side of
the patient, she or he can feel pain or can harm to the patient's. And the non-
maleficence is an action and the result is good or can cure the illness of the patient and
make him or her healthy but the process is not painful or don’t want to harm the patient.
For instances, A pregnant woman is about to labor and the process of her labor is to
take out the child and operated her. Before the doctor operate her she injected an
anaesthesia for her not to feel the pain while opening her womb in this example it’s a
non-maleficence for a pregnant women not feel the pain . For beneficence examples is
when a woman labor a child without using anaesthesia the normal labor she can feel all
the pain before the child came out.In this two examples are having different procedure
but still they make the baby came out and both mother and the baby we’re safe and
healthy .
Therefore I conclude, that this principle is a big help for both side; doctor's side and the
patient side because using anesthesiamakes the doctors feel easy to operate the
patient and for the side of the patient it helps his/her not feel the pain and help them to
be healthy.
