Recommendations
In depth analysis of behavior of customers in accordance with social media advertising was the
purpose of this work. After complete discussion and data analysis, some suggestions and
recommendations are made in following points:

 Research paper highlights the point that there is huge impact of social media
advertisement on buying behavior of consumers so this tool can be used with intense as
marketing strategy. However it is also fact that many companies are using social media
as a tool of advertisement which makes the competition tougher in social media too. So
it is important that advertisement and marketing campaigns should be attractive,
unique and has the capability to hit the mind of potential customer. To make social
media marketing more effective it is suggested that company should use images in their
posts because it has more visibility and people are more attracted to images as compare
to text lines. Advertisement should have website link of the online store in its posts so
that potential customers feel easy to click on the link to check the website and more
details about the products.
 It is important that e-commerce retailers have genuine offer to make in advertisement.
If they are offering anything in social media it should be same in reality too as
advertised. If there are some exaggerations in advertisement then gradually people will
not bother to check the online store and will term social media advertisement as fake.
 It is suggested that companies should keep checking about offers made by the
competitors as research study shows that people visit more than two websites to check
offers before making final decision on payment. At the same time it is also
recommended that companies should engage users on social media by making frequent
posts and offers to attract them.
 Conducted survey shows result that people mostly buy electronic products and clothing
through social media apps so it is very important to focus on these lines to get more
customers attention.
 In social media apps, Facebook is considered as more powerful tool to attract customers
as most people spend time on Facebook. Apart from Facebook; Twitter, Instagram or
LinkedIn are also important to advertise the products in these platforms. It is also
important to advertise products to customize target market so that impact of
advertisement is great. These platforms provide option of selecting target groups in
return of some payment.

Scope of Future Study


Thesis report is in-depth analysis of different products which are sold by online stores. Scope of
further study is available on more products and product range like groceries or fashion
products. Study can also be expanded to involve more demographic comparison. There is room
of more study also on analyzing spending pattern of various age and social groups. Study can be
expanded further to check impact of social media advertisement on each social media app
separately to know which app has more response to a particular product.
