So how does Mandela fit into the Campbell leadership description model? A leader may have
some, or all of the attributes as shown above.

According to Campbell, a leadership is one whose vision is such that it establishes general tone
and gives followers the vital direction that they need. Nelson Mandela was a visionary. He
believed in a South Africa that was united against the atrocities left behind, and being
