Statement of Purpose- (250 words)

Having born and brought up in a service class family from Bhopal, making best use of available
resources have become second nature to me. I have completed my Bachelors Degree in
Mechanical Engineering. Through the years, I observed that my field of study apart from
theoretical knowledge relied on practical and management aspects. This led to inclination
towards management as a field of study and inspired me to improve my skills and subsequently
increased focus and interest towards learning integrity and acquiring the knowledge of business
world.

Being the Student Coordinator I was responsible for organizing events and workshops. I was also
a member of Anti-ragging Committee of my college. The experience I gained, have shaped my
personality as a good facilitator and instilled qualities in me in the form of optimism, desire to
work hard, and deliver the output before deadlines.

Faculty of Management Studies has carved a niche for itself ever since its inception. The
Institute follows the approach of cultivating intuition through academic coursework, case studies
and consulting and research assignments. There is also a great opportunity to closely network
with alumni and learn through seminars from eminent business leaders. Apart from it, cohesive
learning from the peer group will also add to my portfolio.

An MBA from FMS will help me achieve my goal of working in an organization which would
challenge my skills and provide room to give my best to the organization. It is thus my most
preferred destination for pursuing an MBA.

Extra Curricular Activities- (100 words)

1) Appeared as a candidate of Govt. Fine Arts Institute, Indore under mentoring of J.J. College
Of Arts, Mumbai.

2) Successfully led the students of Department of Mechanical Engineering during Industrial visit
to Tawa Hydro-Electric generation Power plant (HEP), Hoshangabad District, M.P. managed by
LNJ Bhilwara Group.

3) Member of Global Association of LNCT Alumni (GALA), Alumni Cell, LNCT Group of
Colleges, Bhopal.

4) Held the position of senior Anti-ragging committee (ARC) member, LNCT, Bhopal in year
2018.

5) Held the position of Anti-ragging committee member, LNCT, Bhopal in years 2017 & 2016
respectively.
6) Actively involved in departmental and college activities as a student coordinator.

My objective is to work in an organization which provides opportunities for growth, learning &
scope for the implementation of technical and managerial knowledge. With proficient vocational
skills and high potential and curiosity to learn, I have sharp & keen interest in latest technologies
and the willingness to utilize it towards achievement of organizational goals. I have the
capability to work under pressure. I have always aspired to be a part of the team which provides
a professional environment as well as real-time experiences. My aim is to enhance the practical
knowledge by compelling real-time Industrial objectives.

Why do you want to join FMS, University of Delhi, Delhi? (100 words)

As FMS is one of the premier institutes of University of Delhi and have been producing global
leaders since more than 60 years is backed with renowned faculties and a strong network of
global alumni which therefore becomes a prime hub for all management aspirants. Moreover, my
objective to join FMS is to inculcate the values taught for the pursuit of excellence and
subsequently contribute towards the common good of all. The core idea is to learn various
approaches, methods and techniques from the best men from the field and deliver the same to the
fast changing world.
