COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course you will be introduced to Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
You will understand the utilization of many different techniques to aid in the
rehabilitation of injuries or surgeries. This course will go in depth into the job of
an Occupational Therapist and a Physical Therapist.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
Correctly identify the utilization of Complementary, Alternative and Integrative
medicine.
Identify professions in complementary and integrative medicine.
How techniques can be used in conjunction with or in lieu of western style
medicine to build the best treatment plans for patients.
Explain the difference between physical therapy and occupational therapy and
what each one has to offer.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
