I am here to deliver a speech on Importance of Cleanliness.
We all heard a phrase that Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Cleanliness means that there is no dirt, no dust, no stains, no bad smells. The goals of cleanliness are health, beauty, absence of offensive odour and to avoid the spreading of dirt and contaminants to ourselves and all our well-wishers. It is our prime responsibility to keep our surroundings clean and hygienic. Clean surroundings lead to good health. Moreover, a clean workplace leads to higher productivity and efficiency in work. This leads to success and development in work. We must practice habits related to personal hygiene such as washing hands and brushing teeth which will help to keep bacteria, viruses, and illnesses away. We must use dustbin rather than throw garbage here and there and clean dustbin at least once in a day. Otherwise flies and mosquitoes would spread and cause harmful diseases. A pollution-free environment leads to sustainable development. We should use biodegradable materials instead of plastic bags. Furthermore, we should recycle and reuse materials. We should also plant more and more trees to keep the environment clean. Now, I would like to conclude the topic. We should all contribute to the individual-level by using eco-friendly measures. Similar to the basic necessities of life like food, water, shelter, cleanliness also holds great value in life. By maintaining cleanliness, we can show gratefulness towards our Mother Earth in a true way.
