Definitions

ESG Rating: Measure of the overall quality of a company's management of ESG issues. Our ESG Rating is based on
publicly available information.
ESG Pillar: A cumulative score for each Pillar (i.e. Environmental, Social and Governance).

ESG Themes: A total of 14 individual ESG Themes make up FTSE Russell's ESG Data Model. The applicability of each
ESG Theme to companies in the research universe is based on how exposed they are to each Theme. These 'Exposure
