Il progetto Lago si muove cercando di non
dimenticare mai l’uomo. Per questo abbiamo
progettato una fabbrica come se fosse la nostra
casa. Perché l’uomo che crea è l’uomo che usa.

DESIGN
Per noi il design non è un luogo comune. E’ il
nostro carattere, la nostra passione, è ciò che ci
rende unici. Progettiamo prodotti pratici, solidi e
felici offrendo ad ognuno l’opportunità di creare
il proprio design.

ACCESSIBILITA’
Produciamo qualità, consapevoli che sarà tale
quando sarà economicamente possibile a molti.
Lago sa rendere accessibili le proprie idee.

 Non è una fabbrica: è un gesto sociale.
Non è un capannone: è un nuovo
approccio mentale. Non è un miraggio: è
un’oasi tra scatole di cemento. Dal
progetto dell’architetto Italo Chiucchini
nasce "LAGOFABBRICA", la non-fabbrica
che produce, in quanto concepita secondo
i principali criteri di bioedilizia domestica.

inusuali per le industrie si incontrano:
sistemi architettonici a misura d'uomo
creano sequenze armoniche di falde
inclinate, travi in legno, mattoni e vetro,
cotto, acciaio e alluminio. Qui dentro e
fuori vivono in simbiosi, uniti dalla
trasparenza che accoglie la luce naturale e
i suoi effetti benefici su corpo e psiche.
Qui le polveri
vengono trattenute dal sistema di
climatizzazione con riscaldamento radiante
a pavimento, permettendo agli occhi di
ammirare il cielo dal soffitto e dai
finestroni affacciati sulla campagna. Qui la
passerella sospesa buca il soffitto con travi
di legno lamellare, donando nuovi punti di
vista sullo show-room. E' nato un nuovo
universo. Al suo centro non solo quello che
si fa, ma chi lo fa: l'uomo.

warehouse: it’s a new mental approach. It’s
not a mirage: it’s an oasis amongst
concrete boxes. From the project of
architect Italo Chiucchini comes
"LAGOFABBRICA", the non-factory that
produces, conceived based on the
principal “green architecture” criteria.
Here precious materials meet that are
usually not found in industrial
buildings: architectural
systems on a human
scale create harmonic sequences of
inclined pitches, wooden beams, bricks
and glass, terracotta, steel and aluminium.
Here they exist in mutualism inside and
out, united by the transparency that
gathers the natural light and its beneficial
effects on the body and mind. Here the
dust is retained by
air conditioning systems with radiant
under floor heating, allowing the eyes to
admire the sky through the ceilings and
windows overlooking the countryside.
Here the suspended gangway penetrates
the ceiling with laminated wooden beams,
giving a new perspective to the showroom.
A universe is born. Not just what is done at
the centre, but who does it: man.

Per promuovere il riutilizzo del cartone
l’imballo dei prodotti Lago è nobilitato da
una veste grafica d’Autore che si rinnova
ogni 2 anni. Semplici e anonime scatole
diventano così veicoli di un messaggio da
collezione, affidato indistintamente alla
fantasia dei bambini come al sentire di
artisti affermati.
Dalla stessa filosofia nascono lo sgabello
“Ricciolo”, la collezione “Object de luxe”
e una guida con tanti altri simpatici
oggetti da creare ritagliando il cartone.
To promote the reuse of the cardboard,
the packaging of Lago products is
graphically refined by artists and renewed
every 2 years. Simple and ordinary boxes
thereby carry a collectable message,
indistinctly entrusted to the fantasy of
children as well as to the perception of
well-known artists.
From this same fantasy comes the
“Ricciolo” stool, the “Object de luxe”
collection and a guide with many other
appealing objects that can be cut out from
the cardboard.

reinterpretare LagoCalendario, un
progetto nato per donare un aspetto
sempre nuovo e allo stesso tempo rendere
funzionale LagoBox, il contenitore di tutto il
materiale aziendale destinato ad ogni
rivenditore. LagoCalendario 2006 è stato
pensato e realizzato da Mela Boev.

created to give a renewed look and at the
same time make the LagoBox functional, the
container of all company material destined

Lo spazio ha una richiesta: chiede più valore. Vuole una
sottolineatura, una sorta di cornice per ricordare che
anche il vuoto è materia. Il concetto è democratico. Per
rispettarlo serve un elemento unico e neutro, in grado di
adattarsi a qualsiasi stile di vita. La risposta è nei
numeri. La soluzione è un modulo da 36,8 per 36,8
centimetri. Eccolo: si ferma, si muove, esplode e
implode, si divide e si moltiplica. Dona allo spazio forma
e sostanza creando segmenti, di differente lunghezza, da
accostare gli uni agli altri. E' minimalista: punta
all'essenza sfuggendo alle definizioni. E’ funzionale: crea
innumerevoli opportunità di contenimento. E’
trasformista: sa essere una spirale in zona giorno, una
creazione classica in zona notte, può mimetizzarsi a
piacere. E’ una griglia da comporre a piacimento. Un
cruciverba che si espande in verticale e orizzontale. Un
pout-pourrì di finiture e colori da scegliere e combinare.
Si chiama 36e8. Ha tutti i numeri per rappresentare il tuo
mondo.

Space has a need: it needs more value. It needs
underlining, a type of frame to remember that even
emptiness is matter. The concept is democratic. To respect
it a unique and neutral element is needed, capable of
adapting to any life style. The answer is in numbers. The
solution is a 36.8 by 36.8 centimetre module. An here it is:
it stands still, it moves, it explodes and implodes, it divides
and it multiplies. It gives shape and substance to a space
creating segments, differing in length, to be placed one
against the other. It is minimalist: it aims at the essence
and shying to definition. It is functional: it creates
numerous containment opportunities. It's a transformist: it
can be a spiral in the living room and a classic creation in
the bedroom, it can merge into anything. It is a grid that
can be assembled at will. A vertically and horizontally
expanding crossword. A potpourri of finishes and colours
to choose and change. It’s called 36e8. It has all the right
numbers to distinguish your world.
