It was a normal summer day in the town of Penshaw, with the cicadas’ chirps overwhelming the

quiet town. The sun was scorching as usual, but that does not stop a certain 14 year old, as he
runs along the paved sidewalk with a dusty black trolley bag in tow, ignoring the blistering heat.

Leo Ferin’s excitement cannot be contained, his hand gripping tightly onto the trolley’s handle.
He runs, pauses, runs, and pauses again. “Why does she live so far away? hm, never mind”, he
thought, “The look on their faces would be worth it once they see what’s in this bag”. He runs
again, turns to a corner and heads to the downtown neighborhood. Only a few people live in
this part of the town, which explains why there were only a few houses built and why the
weeds on the sidewalk were unkempt. Most of the time, this place was dead silent, which
fascinated and unnerved Leo at the same time. He finally reached his destination, an
extravagant home just by the end of the street. He walks up and knocks on the door. A few
seconds later, a dark haired girl answers it.

“You just called 2 minutes ago, how did you get here so fa-“

abomination upstairs with him.

“Damnit Yusha! Why does your bedroom have to be upstairs?”

“Because not everyone wants to sleep in the living room like you, Leo.” Yusha sighs “Anyways,
what’s with the trolley bag? Going abroad?”
“If I was going abroad, I would be bringing this to the airport, not at your house.” Leo said with
a sly smirk, towing the trolley into the living room.
“Touché.” She said, flatly.
“Is that Leo?” a voice coming from the kitchen was heard.
“Yeah, It’s me.” A boy with disheveled auburn hair then comes out from the kitchen, a plate of
cookies in his hand, “So what was this amazing thing you want to tell us so bad you ran half a
mile for?” he plops down the couch and continued to munch on the cookies.
“Well, I don’t exactly know myself for sure, so I decided you guys might as well look at it too”
overwhelmed with excitement, he opens the zipper of the trolley bag to reveal numerous items
and trinkets. One that stood out in particular is a pair of old aviator pilot goggles which Leo
eagerly picked up
